Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Canada

Cavalier Rescue

The dogs who come into rescue are of all ages, from youngsters through seniors, with most being adults. The main reasons for Cavaliers requiring re-homing are illness, divorce, job transfer, or retired show dogs and breeding stock.

Cavaliers who require re-homing are evaluated and their medical needs are taken care of while in rescue. On occasion a Cavalier with special needs may become available.

We try to make the best possible match for both the dog and the adopting family. However, we are always willing to consider loving, responsible families, for these affectionate dogs.

If you are interested in adoption, or need to re-home a cavalier, please contact the Regional Director for your area. There is a nominal charge involved for the adoption process. This fee helps the CKCSCC defray the medical costs. Sorry, we do not take cross breds.
